Lessons we learned

Last, last week before the examination we have learned about the TQLR Method. Its main concern is to let a person understand more about a certain topic being talked about in a discussion or any speeches. Where "T" stands for "Tune in" to understand the topic. "Q" stands for "Question" to identify relevant topics. "L" stands for "Listen" to get additional topics and to answer his questions he wanted to know. And "R" stands for "Respond" where the listener gives his suggestions, reactions, or any reactions to the speaker.
Also we have read the story "Everyday Use" talking about rivalry between two sisters which are Black Americans. It talks about who has the right to own the quilts made by Big Dee. The lesson I have learned in this story is that wer should value our heritage, culture, and traditions and also to keep and preserve it.

Keeping in touch with our tradition help us survive these modern times. There are values in them that are universal.
